Our Process

initial consultation
We'll meet via zoom or in person, based on your preference. Here's where you can ask any questions and we can get to know each other to make sure the vibe is right.

PLANNING CALLS
One month before your wedding, we'll have a call to discuss timeline, formals, important pictures, and anything else that will help ease your mind. Then, one week before your wedding, we have a quick, five minute call to confirm that everything is good to go.

WEDDING DAY!
On your big day, you don't have anything to worry about. I keep track of time so you can just enjoy the day. I want you and all your guests to feel so well taken care of that you can just trust the process and be yourself. You can expect a day of fun, filled with a bit of sass, and a lot of laughing!

THE BIG REVEAL
To make it as easy on you as possible, everything is done online – you're sent a quote with the wedding packages we talked about, you pick the one you want, it goes to a contract that you sign online, and then straight to an invoice that they can pay online. See? Easy.
You'll receive preview of your wedding photos within 48 hours, and delivery of your gallery within 30 days. Time to get excited about reliving all those priceless memories!

Backup - Backup - backup
Daisy Blue always shoots to two cards simultaneously, backs up your files to 2 hard drives and 2 online sources the night of your wedding. The safety of your images is a huge priority to us!
Will you bring an assistant to my wedding?
Amy generally does not bring an assistant, if that changes, she will discuss this with you at the one-month call. There is no charge to you for the assistant
Do you offer digital file downloads? Will I have printing rights? Are the photos resized at all when you deliver them to me?
Daisy Blue offers digital downloads of all edited proofs. The files you receive are full sized files and you will receive printing rights with your gallery.
DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES I CAN CHOOSE FROM?
Daisy Blue offers elopement and full day packages with both single shooter and second shooter options.
WILL MY WEDDING GALLERY BE EDITED? HOW MANY PICTURES CAN I EXPECT?
Daisy Blue edits every gallery for exposure & for color. You should expect at least 500 photos from your 8 hour wedding day package. We generally deliver between 500-800 photos.
CAN WE REQUEST SPECIFIC PHOTOS FOR OUR WEDDING DAY?
At your one-month call, we will discuss each part of your wedding day, what photos are important to you at each step of the day, as well as create a full list of Formal Family Photos.
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH MY WEDDING DAY TIMELINE?
Daisy blue will help you build your timeline as well as your family formals photo list.
WILL YOU HELP KEEP US ON OUR TIMELINE?
Amy will call you the week of your wedding to confirm start times, addresses, and timelines!
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE A PREVIEW?
Daisy Blue posts a preview of your wedding photography within 48 hours of your wedding date!
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET COVID AND CAN’T COME TO MY WEDDING?
Amy is fully vaccinated and has her booster. She is willing to wear a mask if you wish. If your wedding is postponed due to Covid, you can choose a later date for your wedding with no additional charges or penalties. If we get Covid and cannot photograph your wedding, Daisy Blue guarantees an experienced professional wedding photographer will be there for your wedding day.
DO YOU OFFER A FULL GALLERY PREVIEW BEFORE I BOOK?
Daisy Blue is a fully insured and licensed business by the State of Michigan.
